He spotted her sitting in the back of the library, at her table next to the bay window. Instead of her usual position; books piled high around her, quill moving furiously across the parchment in front of her, teeth obnoxiously biting down on her lip. She sat silently watching the rain pound against the window.

He was hesitant to make his presence known. A bolt of lightning made her jump, and he decided he would apologize. He shouldn't have casted the hex earlier. He just hated that smug look she gave him. He took a step closer and another until he was only a few steps away. As he opened his mouth, a voice called out behind him.

"'Mione! Where are you?" Weasel called. Madam Pince immediately shushed him and gave him a stern look. Draco quickly ducked behind a nearby bookcase, just as Granger turned to look where the voice came from.

"There you are, 'Mione. We were beginning to get worried about you." Weasley grinned at her, relief shining in his eyes. Draco angled himself between two books so he could clearly see her face. "You were worried about me?" Granger smiled shyly.

Damn the weasel! He was mucking up his chance for forgiveness. Maybe he could hex the ginger? No, that would only get him another detention.

"Of course, Harry and I were worried about you, running off like that after Malfoy hexed you." Granger's smile faded when she heard his name.

Did she really hate me that much?

Weasley quickly realizing his slip, tried to amend it. "Harry earned himself detention, so maybe we could study tonight after dinner. I mean if you want to study, we could play chess or something too." He rambled. Granger smiled, "Sure, we could work on the Potions essay due tomorrow that I know you haven't began to work on." Weasley shrugged, "What are friends for?"

Granger grinned at that. "'Mione! Your teeth! They look brilliant! I mean they looked good before don't get me wrong." Weasley exclaimed.

Had she changed her teeth back herself? He moved a little to the left and saw they were dazzling white and a lot less buck toothy. The weasel wasn't wrong they looked great. But that only made him feel all the worse about hexing her earlier.

"That's enough, get out of my library!" Madam Pince sternly wagged her finger at the two. "Out! Out! Out! I will not tolerate your disruptive behavior. Find somewhere else to fornicate. But it will definitely not be in my library!"

Granger blushed a pretty shade of red, the freckles on her nose highlighting the amber color of her eyes. Weasley had the decency to give the librarian a sheepish grin. Weasley hurried out of the library, with Granger following him. Madam Pince turned to Draco, "Mr. Malfoy, I already told you, you've been banned from the library for three weeks due to your prior disruption. Now, out!" Draco could have sworn, Granger paused as Pince said his name. But he didn't get the chance to ponder it as he was ushered out of the library.
