"Hi, Gaku-chan!" said Kaito walking into the park, the place they planned to meet. "Oh.. Hey" said Gakupo "So? How's it goin?" Kaito hadn't seen him since the last concert. "Fine- but Miku is sick," Kaito
widened his eyes, quite upset of what he heard about his dear friend. "Oh- is that so?" asked Kaito. "Do you think I would lie to you?" Kaito was quiet for a few seconds then, hesitantly, he nodded. Gakupo chuckled, then felt something vibrating in his pocket. Ring ring! Miku was calling. "Hold on sec, Kai- Yes? Oh, hey Miku-san. I'm doing fine, how are you? Wha- The concert? What? Well, okay, um, bye I'll try to be there as soon as I can." Gakupo left the room without telling Kaito what was going on, stopping at the park's entrance gate to look at him. "Kaito-chan, I think we should leave now."
"Why?"
" There's no time to explain," He said, grabbing Kaito's hand and rushing to the parking lot.
He opened the passenger door, inviting Kaito in. "After you," he said a strand of hair falling over one eye. "Ukes first."
Gakupo rushed down the highway, cursing under his breath one hand clutching Kaito's hand, the other tight on the wheel. When he was almost reached the parking lot of what he thought to be the concert studio, his neon purple cellphone began to ring, showing Miku trying to call.
"Miku? What? O-oh... I see…" Gakupo had tears in his eyes. "Ok, bye- N-No, I'm fine Miku-chan, just… ugh..."
Gakupo hung up, tears in his eyes, dropping his phone,.
"Wha- what happened?" Kaito asked, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"DON'T YOU SEE?! We missed our chance to sing together in Canterella!"
Kaito's eyes widened, and began to fill with tears. They were silent for a while, crying together, holding hands. "Crap," They said it at the same time, then laughed, both slightly blushing. Kaito drove to their apartment building, but noticed some new things "Hmm…" Kaito looked around his surroundings.
"This isn't familiar… Gakupo, pull up your map for me?"
"Sure."
Gakupo checked his phone's map, squinting his eyes at what he saw, looking up and down at his phone to the road.
"It says we should be right h- oh no… I think were lost".
