Another small LuNa that I felt like writing. Post time-skip. Enjoy.

It was nighttime on the Thousand Sunny, and everyone had gone to bed already except for Luffy And Nami.

"Luffy, I'm going to bed. Don't stay up all night, alright?" she said sweetly. Luffy was sitting not on the head of the Sunny, but on the front railing instead.

"Yeah, I won't take too long. Good night, Nami."

"Good night." She smiled, before going into her room. Luffy turned back around, thinking.

'Nami...I love you more than you could ever imagine. But I feel like you don't feel the same way...' Luffy pondered these feelings for a while. Eventually, he decided to go to sleep. As he hopped down onto the deck, he suddenly felt a rush of heat to his face. He began to sweat a lot, and became dizzy and lightheaded.

'Urgh...I don't feel good...I need to go to sleep.' Luffy took one step before falling down head-first. He started to breathe heavily and staggered.

'Augh...O-On second thought, I should get Chopper.' Luffy tried to stand, but it was no use. He didn't have the strength. He began to crawl towards the men's quarters to wake Chopper up. He didn't even make it halfway.

"Cho-p-per...haaaa." Luffy hit the deck, literally.

Nami was the first one awake. She got up and got dressed, brushed her teeth, etc. and walked out to the deck. It didn't take long before she hit something and almost tripped over herself.

"What the...what was...?" Nami looked down and frowned. Of course. He didn't go to bed like she asked.

"Hey! Luffy! Get up!" He made no move.

"Luffy! Why I oughta-" she swung her leg back, ready to kick him, but stopped herself. Luffy's breathing was wrong. It was staggered. Something was up with him. She bent down and lightly shook him.

"Luffy?" she asked, worry in her voice. "Luffy, wake up." Still no answer.

"Luffy!" she sobbed. She turned him over and saw the wreck he was: face flushed with dark red, hair wild, and almost no physical strength.

"Luffy, are you okay?!" she shouted. Luffy slowly opened his eyes. They were bloodshot and drowsy looking.

"Na...mi...He...lp." He said before passing out. Nami almost burst into tears.

"CHOPPER!" she screamed. Chopper burst out of the Men's Quarters immediately. He ran up to her and saw Luffy.

"Ahhhh! Help me get him to the Infirmary, quick!" They hurried there, and Chopper started to run tests to see what was wrong.

"Nami, I want you to wait outside. I need some privacy, if you don't mind."

Soon after, everyone else was awake. Usopp walked up to Nami.

"Morning. What's up?" When Nami didn't respond, Usopp looked at her. Her face was stained with tears, and she was biting her nails nervously.

"Whoa, what's wrong?!" It took all she had not to break down crying.

"L-Luffy is..." she pointed to the Infirmary. Usopp started towards there, but Nami quickly stopped him. She shook her head.

"No, Usopp. Chopper needs some space right now." The rest of the crew soon found out and were all out on deck, waiting.

Chopper had just finished analyzing his results. When he looked at them, he was in disbelief. "Whaaaaat?!" he whispered.

Chopper walked out to the rest of the Straw Hats. He sat down with them.

"Well?!" asked Nami. "Is he alright?!"

"Well, it's hard to believe. You need to hear this." Nami calmed down, and everyone was silent.

"Luffy has a fever of 104°. I thought it might have been Hyperthermia (unlike Hypothermia, it's where the body feels intense heat) at first, so I tested it. My results were unbelievable. So I tested it again, and a third time. I got the same result each time."

"So what does he actually have?" asked Zoro.

"...It's a severe Lovesickness."

"WHAT?!" everyone yelled in unison.

"Luffy's in love with someone?!" asked Sanji.

"I know. I can't believe it either. But it's the truth. Now for the terms: Luffy becomes flushed whenever he thinks about this person. This sickness actually is caused by the victim's denial in believing that their love interest thinks about them in the same way..."

"Poor guy..." said Franky. "So who's he in love with?"

"About that. The sickness is so heavy because his love interest is close to him. So, it's someone on this ship. And that means only two possibilities." Chopper pointed to Nami. "I think it's you, Nami."

Nami looked shocked, but got over it rather quickly. She looked down at the ground solemnly.

"...Fear of denial, huh?" She got up and walked towards the infirmary.

"Nami, wait!" said Chopper. She stopped and turned around.

"Chopper, I'm going to see him. You can't stop me, especially because...I'm in love with him, too." she gave a slight smile, then kept walking. Everyone else was stunned into silence.

Luffy was looking up at the ceiling. He had felt a lot better since Chopper cooled him down and lowered his body temperature. Just then, he heard the door to the Infirmary open, and sat up. Nami walked through, closed the door, and locked it behind her. She looked at Luffy. His face flared up again, and he quickly looked away.

"Luffy..."

"Nami, you shouldn't be in here with me. I hate to say it, but I only get worse when you're around."

"I know about your condition already, dummy." Luffy gasped.

"I'm sorry. I need to go." Luffy said, standing up and going towards the door. Nami walked up behind him and wrapped around his torso. She buried her face into his back, sobbing.

"Please don't leave. We need to talk." Luffy's hand fell to his side, and he stood there gaping, motionless.

"Luffy, do you really love me?"

"...More than anything else."

Without warning,Nami spun him around and kissed him deeply. Luffy thought that his fever would burn higher than ever, but in fact, it actually did the opposite. The two lovers parted. They were both panting.

"Huh? How come my temp went down?"

"You were in fear of denial." Nami smiled. "Since I accepted your love, there's nothing for you to be afraid of anymore. Let me feel." Nami put her hand to Luffy's forehead and held it there for a moment.

"Luffy, you're burning up! Your temperature didn't lower!"

"Actually, it did. It was a lot higher than this before."

"How high?!"

"Chopper tested me a few times, and the highest it got to was 107°."

"But that's life threatening!"

"Yeah, I know."

"You idiot! You could have died!" Nami buried her face in Luffy.

"But I didn't, and that's what matters." Nami was sobbing into his shirt.

"Aw, I'm sorry Nami! I'll be more careful from now on, I promise."

" *sniff* Okay." She smiled. "Now then, we need to get you feeling better."

"Huh? But you're not a doctor."

"I'm totally a doctor!...of sorts. You see Luffy," she said as she unbuttoned his shirt, "I'm what you might call a 'stress reliever,'" she said in a low, seductive tone. (Oh boy)

The End.
