I got inspired :) the character is randomly named Katelyn that's not my real name though it was just some random name I thought of XD the Pokemon the main Character is, is a Eevee (She doesn't say she's an Eevee until the end so it might get a little bit confusing)

My body was getting heavier. And I suddenly knew it was time to say goodbye.
"Pikachu" my partner looked up
"What's wrong Katelyn?" Pikachu asked
"Dusknoir said once the world would save" I got choked up "All the Pokemon and Humans of the future would disappear"
Pikachu's eyes got wide with realization "N-No!"
"I'm sorry!" tears were welling up in my eyes as well as my partner's "It...It was meant to be this way..."
"Katelyn your glowing!" Pikachu exclaimed
I looked down and indeed little yellow sparkles were flying off my body.
"I'll never forget you" I whisper "You were my very special friend"
"Katelyn!" Pikachu sobbed "I was only brave because of you! You can't leave me!"
"I'm sorry!" I felt my own voice getting further and further away "Tell everyone what has happened here today so that it will never happen again...please..."
"Please Katy..." Pikachu sounded even further away than I did
I was getting further and further away from Pikachu...Further and Further away from my best friend. Maybe if we had more time together we would have become more...
"Katelyn I love you" I felt Pikachu's kiss but my senses were becoming so dull and the world was being clouded by the bright sparkles I didn't have much time to enjoy it
"Pikachu I love you too" I managed to yell "Your my best friend, I wish you were more but I have to go! Please grant my last request and tell everybody what has happened here!"
"Katelyn!" Pikachu sobbed
I got one last glance of his yellow face and red cheeks before I could see nothing but yellow...
I felt my feet being lifted off the ground Maybe we'll see each other again in another life...
I suddenly remembered part of my past. It happened so quick it felt like one of the memories I'd had with Pikachu.
"You know..." Grovyle said "We could save the future"
"But then we'd...die" I gulped
"And we love living" Grovyle laughed "But you know what they say if you love something you'd better prove it by letting that something go"
That's what I'm going to do...
I'm going to let Pikachu go...
"KATELYN!" I heard him yell
I opened my mouth to say a last goodbye as I heard the noise of the sparkles dimming I saw my body becoming more and more transparent. I yelled it as loud as I could but I don't think he heard me.
Even though I was flying my body felt heavy I knew in a matter of second Katelyn the Eevee, Human, Whatever I was would be gone for good.
I closed my eyes and accepted fate.
When I opened my eyes I realized I wasn't dead. I was on the beach with Pikachu and he was hugging me.
"Shucks she's back!" Bidoof exclaimed
"Katelyn!" Pikachu exclaimed
"P-Pikachu?" I asked shakily "I-Is this a dream?"
"If it was I'm going to be really disappointed" Pikachu smiled and then he kissed me
In the background I heard Bidoof say 'aww' and the question of how I was alive and how long I had been gone still rang in my head but all I could focus on at the moment was Pikachu.
And that was all I ever wanted to focus on for the rest of my life.
All I had focused on before I'd almost vanished was my past that I never could and probably never would remember. Now I'm casting aside those thoughts. Life was short, Why focus on something that doesn't need to be focused on yet?
