Can You Feel The Sunshine?
Miles sat on the lush green grass of his favorite hill. -Sigh-"What a pretty day!" thought Miles.
"There's hardly a cloud in the sky."
Miles sat on the hill staring at the clouds until he decided to visit his girlfriend Fiona. He started off at a jog but quickly eased into a light sprint due to the fact that he felt unusually chipper. He arrived at Fiona's house in record time.
As he knocked on the door he was startled. The door was unlocked. "Hmm that's strange. Fiona never leaves the door unlocked." pondered Miles.
He proceeded into the house anyway. Every light was out and the house was pitch black. Miles thought to himself "Ok, now this is starting to get a little creepy."
He called out his lover's name. No reply was uttered. The only thing running through Miles' mind was "What happened here?"
Miles traveled carefully up the creaking stairs and into the upstairs hallway. He called Fiona's name again and this time he heard something. He heard a cold lifeless chuckle. That chuckle soon escalated to a maniacal cackle.
Miles was experiencing utter shock at the sight he beheld. A humanoid figure loomed over the bloody, lifeless corpse that was formerly Fiona. The creature was licking its claws. It enjoyed the taste of blood, mobian blood. Miles couldn't move. The figure turned to show it hideous face.
It was a doll. In fact it was the same doll that Miles got Fiona a few weeks back. It was a two tailed kitsune doll that Fiona had almost gone ballistic for. Miles had named it Tails after himself because it was sporting two tails. The doll had an evil, twisted smile plastered on its bloody mouth. Miles looked into its eyes and noticed they were blacker than the blackest of nights. He couldn't move.
The doll said in a chilling voice "Can you feel the sunshine?" Miles not knowing what to say out of fear replied by nodding his head yes.
The doll lunged at Miles. He snapped out of the trance that the doll's eyes had induced. Miles jumped out of the way just in time.
"I gotta get outta here!" thought Miles frantically. He swiftly ran down stairs and hid behind the kitchen island.
"Play with me" the doll tormented. Miles quickly darted to the living room. The doll soon found its way in there as well. Miles was relieved at the sound of a knock at the door. Since the doll had somehow disappeared he felt it to be safe to go to the door but a few feet away. He answered the door to find his crimson haired best friend standing outside with a smile on his face.
"Dude I am so glad to see you." said Miles.
Miles relaxed for a split second and in that split second he heard the doll say
"PLAY WITH ME MY CHILD!!!" Miles' eyes widened and at that very moment he was dragged screaming to his doom.
Miles was never seen again.
