When I was a little girl I had a doll. I loved that doll more than anything in the world, I played with it and dressed it up. At night I wrapped it up in a piece of cloth and said goodnight.

One day it was time for my Pokemon Journey, not wanting to leave the doll behind I shoved it into my backpack and ran out. My new starter Treeco replaced the doll in my heart and I forgot I'd brought it all together.

As I got older I became champion and began fighting other trainers as a living. That's when I noticed the small bulge at the bottom of my bag. I pulled it out and saw my old Pokemon doll. It had once been of a Chimchar oddly enough but now it was something...different. It had turned grey and red eyes peeked out of the greyness. It's mouth had been zipped shut and it now had a golden tail ended by a star on it's rear end. I remembered the cloth I'd once used to wrap around it at night and felt a strange emptiness as I realized I didn't have it anymore.

I got even older and had a child. I gave her the doll to play with happy someone else would be loving it. Despite the fact it had become creepy my little daughter loved it. One night my husband went out on a business trip. My daughter was crying because she couldn't find the doll she held so near and dear to her heart. I promised her we'd find it but we never did. I got the call in the morning my husband had been murdered.

I began to feel a strange emptiness after his death but I still had lots to live for, my daughter, my Pokemon. I opened up the door 3 nights after my husbands death and there standing at the door was my doll. Still disfigured but it was now half my height, more importantly it was alive.
"Banette!" it screeched
I stepped back in fear, my daughter was at school so she wouldn't see it, I only hoped it wouldn't go looking for her.
"You left me!" it cried "Your forgot about me!"
"I-I'm sorry!" I sobbed
"Sorry isn't good enough anymore" it spat "It was never good enough now I have made you pay!"
"What have you done?" I asked
"Isn't it obvious?" the doll asked "I have killed that horrible man and now I will claim you!"
"N-No!" I cried "I'm sorry!"
"The little girl will live" the doll said happily "She will have me and my child protecting her from harm...but you...YOU WILL PAY!"

I woke up screaming. Treeco looked up confused as I ripped the doll out of the bag and threw it into the woods. It was still a Chimchar but it scared me now. I just hoped my dream wouldn't be true.

Everything happened just as it should have I grew up, got married, became champion and had a wonderful daughter.

It was all perfect until I noticed my daughter was playing with something outside.
A Pokemon.
Bannete.
My Doll.
