A/N: I'm not entirely sure where this idea came from, but I got it after watching Mudd's Women. Enjoy, and please R&R, my first Star Trek fic.

"What are you smirking at?" Doctor McCoy inquired of Spock as the Vulcan entered the infirmary with an amused look adorning his face. "Better yet, what're you doing down here."

"Which question would you like answered, Doctor?" Spock asked, raising an eyebrow. McCoy sighed, crossed his arms over his chest and tilted his head to one side. They stared at each other for a few moments, until they were interrupted by the sound of the door opening. They turned their heads in time to see Kirk enter. The Captain stopped short when he saw the two men and a smile much akin to Spock's appeared on his face.

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything, Gentlemen," Kirk said, stepping into their circle and looking from one man to the other.

"The doctor was merely inquiring as to my purpose in the infirmary," Spock informed the Captain. Kirk looked at McCoy, a delighted expression on his face.

"Why, Doctor, I should think you would know the answer to that question," Kirk said.

"He was early," McCoy grumbled, letting his hands drop to his sides. "Besides, that wasn't all I was wondering about. I want to know what's so damn amusing it's got Spock smiling."

"Yes, Mr. Spock," Kirk said, obviously enjoying himself. "What is so amusing?" Spock quirked his eyebrow a little higher and looked from Kirk to McCoy.

"Why, human men, Captain," Spock said.

"Human men?" McCoy asked incredulously.

"Yes, Doctor, human men and the amazing effect had on them by beautiful women," Spock clarified.

"Oh, of course," McCoy said sarcastically. "So you're saying they had no effect on you whatsoever?"

"Gentlemen," Kirk said quickly, placing a hand on each man's shoulder. "This is not what we're here for."

"The Captain has a point," Spock said. The Vulcan turned and headed for one of the back rooms of the infirmary. McCoy looked at Kirk, annoyance lining his face.

"Damn it Jim! You know I can't be alone with him without going insane!" he snapped. Kirk suppressed his laughter and steered the doctor in the direction Spock had gone.

"You can get back at him now," Kirk said.
