Bruce looked at his husbend in surprise.
"your kidding right?" Bruce ask.
"no i'm not." Tony replied.
"seriously?" Bruce ask.
"yes." Tony replied.
"your joking right?" Bruce ask. Tony sighed.
"no i'm not. i want to adopt a kid." Tony said.
"really?" Bruce ask.
"YES! i already have a little girl in mind. she's five and she needs a family." Tony said. he was begging now and Bruce sighed.
"you know kids aren't puppies right?" Bruce ask.
"yes! but I don't want her to think no one loves her." Tony replied. Bruce sighed again.
"whats her name?" Bruce ask.
"Emmie." Tony replied. Bruce sighed a third time.
"and your sure you want to adopt a toddler?" Bruce ask.
"yes! i want to make our family bigger and since your not a woman, adoption is the only way." Tony said. Bruce nodded.
"alright. lets go get Emmie." Bruce said.
"Bruce Stark I love you!" Tony exclaimed kissing Bruce. first they decorated her room with toys and little girl stuff. next they went and adopted Emmie but she'd asked them to call her Charlie. "alright sweetheart. we decorated your room to the best of our knowloge but ,Charlie, you can ask us to change it if you want." Tony said. the five year old blonde looked at the room and smiled. she looked up at him with her ash colored eyes.
"I love it!" Emmie exclaimed.
"go go on go play with the toys. later we can go out for ice cream." Bruce smiled.
"what do I call you?" Emmie ask.
"whatever you want Charlie." Bruce replied. Emmie smiled and went to play.
"five bucks says i'm daddy and your mommy." Tony challanged.
"your on." Bruce accepted.
*the park*
turned out Tony was right but neither cared and Bruce bought the ice cream instead of paying Tony.
"are you married?" Emmie ask looking at Bruce and Tony from her Strawberry ice cream.
"yes we are married." Bruce replied. Emmie nodded.
"ok." Emmie said.
"sweetheart your going to need some clothes and a bath when we are done." Bruce laughed.
"but I don't have any other clothes." Emmie replied.
"wrongo, you remember my friend Pepper we bumped into leaving right?" Tony ask. Emmie nodded. "well she went out and got you some clothes." Tony said.
"yay!" Emmie smiled. "mommy." Emmie said.
"yes?" Bruce ask.
"why did you want me?" Emmie ask. Tony choked on his ice cream.
"why wouldn't we want you?" Bruce ask patting Tony's back.
"because i've been in there the longest and nobody wanted me. so why would you?" Emmie ask. Tony picked her up and put her on his lap.
"because your a special little girl. know why nobody else wanted you?" Tony ask.
"no daddy why?" Emmie ask.
"because they knew they weren't the right parents for you. that they weren't the right family for you. your special so you deserve a good family." Tony explained. Emmie smiled and giggled. she reached up with her ice cream before he could move and smushed in onto his face. Bruce laughed.
"daddy you need a bath too." Bruce laughed and highfived Emmie.
"oh really mommy?" Tony ask and covered Bruce with his ice cream. "now you need one too mommy." Tony laughed. Bruce went to dump his ice cream on Tony but he moved and Emmie was covered. they all laughed.
"mommy, daddy, we all need baths can we go get one?" Emmie ask. Tony nodded and picked her up.
"alright lets go home and get cleaned up. then we'll go out and meet some friends." Tony said.
"ok." Emmie said. so they headed home.
