Falling & Flying
Barbara had been flying most of her life. Her complicated gymnastic routines had simply been a second nature to her. Flipping and twisting through the air while the smile on her determined face never slipped. When she became Batgirl, she could fly doing patrols, and helping others as she spun along.
Dick had a fear of falling before she even had met him, from when his parents fell.
And neither of them noticed, and neither of them saw it coming. But slowly, they were falling in a whole different way.
When all of a sudden, it came to a stop.
Barbara was falling.
Dick was not.
And ever since she fell, he never flew the same way again.
