I've been doing some exporing, and I am currently hooked on Fairy Tail. I'm sure what I have goes way past obsession. This story is partly based off the Lucy/Gray kiss animation on DeviantArt, and partly based off the strange rantings of my sleep-deprived brain. Random One-shot about my current second-favorite shipping in the entirety of Fairy Tail. (#1 is GaLe-I can't describe how cute they are to me)

Warning! Both characters may be OOC, because it's two in the morning (literally-I'm writing this at two in the morning) and I can't tell what's OOC and what isn't.

Enjoy the story!

I yawned and frowned sleepily at the dark-haired nuisance standing next to the edge of my bed.

"You need what? And—and—and why are you here?" I yawned again, and was forced to say 'and' a couple more times than necessary. I watched Gray shift uncomfortably.

"I need your help, Lucy. Please." I smiled, but frowned a moment later.

"But…why are you here. I mean, why not ask Natsu to evaporate her? Oh wait…" My mind was completely scrambled. Gray stared at me with an—in my opinion—overly shocked look on his face.

"I don't want her dead!" I climbed out of bed, neatened the sheets, then sat back down on the edge. I patted the clear area next to me, and he sat.

"Well, you could've fooled me. Right? I think that's what I want to say. Anyways, why don't you just tell Juvia that you don't like her?" I made a mental note to watch my tongue. I didn't want to say anything I would regret. Gray sighed.

"I've tried that already, but she just won't accept it!" He looked ready to pull his hair out.

"Is that a girl thing?" I asked impulsively. "I always thought it was a girl thing." Gray looked thoroughly confused. I giggled. "It would be funny to see you pull your hair out. But I suppose it would hurt, and a bald Gray would be very strange, don't you agree?" I yawned again, then gasped as my words registered.

"Oh jeez…sorry. I'm still not entirely awake. So, Juvia won't accept that you don't have romantic feelings for her?" Gray nodded, still clearly perplexed, and I frowned. Juvia won't listen, huh…well, there's one way to solve that…

"I have an idea, but it could get a little awkward." I mentally wondered if my sleepy brain was trying to do some matchmaking. Gray raised an eyebrow.

"I'm willing to try pretty much anything," he replied. I took a deep breath.

"You could start dating someone else." The room was dead silent, and I felt a faint blush rise to my cheeks. I could make out some pink covering Gray's face as well. His eyebrow twitched, and he stared at me. I stared back. Oh jeez. Just pass it off as a joke. It's a joke, Lucy, a joke!

"Anyone in particular?" Gray's voice was very quiet. I smiled. A joke? There was no way this was a joke.

"Well, you have a perfectly eligible young lady sitting in front of you." My heartbeat sped up. Oh, why did I say that, why? Gray, still blushing, leaned forward slightly. He looked so…adorable, and a just a bit vulnerable. I laid my hand against his cheek. I stretched my head up to his, and he met me halfway. Our lips touched, and I could feel blood pulsing through my body.
Wow. And I thought I might say something I regretted.

I have to say, I really like Juvia, and the whole stalking thing is amazing and funny. However, I think if Juvia were to stop chasing Gray around, the two of the could make the most amazing team ever. They work so well together! The only obstacle is Juvia's obsession. Otherwise, they could pretty much own everyone else in the guild.

Please don't kill me. I love Juvia.

ClairePuff out.
