Cat Valentine and Robbie Shapiro sat sitting face to face cards in their hands putting on their most serious expressions. They were playing poker with the stakes very high, candy. It was Cat's favorite way to play and it kept her going.
One! Two! Three!

Cat knew very little about card she had an Ace, a king, a queen, a jack and a nine. But she knew how to get candy, even if it meant tricking her boyfriend to get some. She smiled slyly and said "I'm all in." Even if she did have a terrible hand…she could still trick the gullible geek that was her boyfriend. Robbie his Hand was better than Cat's be he certainly didn't think that. With Cat's hand all in She could have A Royal Flush! He had to be careful considering she probably wasn't kidding because we were risking her favorite thing, candy.
He had 2 aces, a king and a queen and a Jack.
Everybody gather round!
Watcha gonna bet?
Blackjack, roulette.
The table is set.
Me versus you.

I've got a 50 in my pocket,

Cat had Robbie tricked. He only had one piece of candy left and he threw it in. But he folded anyway. The pile of candy was quite large and Cat wouldn't joke about this much candy, would she?

Robbie looked into Cat's eyes and said "One, Two, And Three. SHOW!"
They both put their cards down and when Robbie saw her cards his jaw dropped. Cat giggled and gathered her candy. She gave Robbie an apologetic look.

Robbie got up and walked to the kitchen and grabbed red velvet cake for Cat. He really did love her, but she played him. She was really sneaky for that, no one knew she had it in her. She saw the cake and her chocolate brown eyes doubled in size. She started smiling widely and got up on her Toes and kissed him. Then she shoved icing in his face. Robbie was starting to think that losing to Cat isn't so bad…if he gets kissed after!
