Lonks – Part 1
Remus tried not to think about her… but he couldn't. No, he told himself, I don't want her hurt by my transformation! He thought of the bubblegum pink hair she always wore, how beautiful her and her personality was. He went to sleep, her in his dreams. Tonks wrote the last sentence in her journal, then closed it. She could feel her heart beating with love. What if he didn't love her? What if he got hurt doing his job? What if he loved someone else? What if….? No, she told herself, I must stay strong. The next day, Remus was on duty, so she couldn't see him. Then the very next day, Tonks was on duty, so Remus couldn't see her. This went on for two weeks straight, each hoping to see the other, when they couldn't take it anymore. They both said 'No' to guard duty. At dinner two days later, they saw each other from across the parking lot of Grimmauld Place. They both ran towards each other, and when they collided, their lips met, and both of their problems went away for a split second, the second where they both said, "I love you."
