Ice Cream and Apple Juice

"Thanks for taking me out today, Kira!" Flay chirped, As the redhead gripped the brunette's arm.
"You know I'd do anything for you, Flay," The pilot of the Freedom replied, smiling at his girlfriend. The two were rollerblading in Orb National Park. No fighting, no mobile suits, just two teenagers in love enjoying a warm Sunday afternoon.
As they skated along, they saw an ice cream truck, "Would you buy me some?" Flay asked in her cutest voice, her face peeking out from under her pink helmet.
"Sure, I'm a little hungry myself" Kira said, and they skated over.
"Well, what can I get for you on this fine day? The ice cream man said, "Shall I start with the lovely lady first?"
"Get me a scoop of strawberry on a sugar cone, please?" Flay said.
"I'll take mint chocolate chip and regular chocolate chip in a cup please," Kira said. The vendor handed the two their ice cream, and Kira paid for it. They skated over to a bench and sat down. Flay happily bit into her ice cream.
"It's so creamy! Thank you Kira!" Flay squealed in delight as she kissed him with sticky lips. The young man immediately started blushing as red as his girlfriend's hair.
She looks so happy, Kira thought, as Flay skated about, eating her ice cream, occasionally glancing at him and smiling, She makes me happy, just by looking at her, and seeing her smile. Flay's smile was the best thing about her, of course that wasn't the only good thing, as he took notice of Flay's white sleeveless top and pink shorts that exposed long, creamy legs.
After finishing up their treat, they resumed skating around the park. It was starting to get dark and Kira and Flay started heading home as they passed a convenience store.
"Kira, can we get something to drink? I'm getting thirsty" Flay asked.
"Sure, what do you want?" Kira said, as Flay sat on a bench.
"Get me some apple juice," Flay said.
"I'll be back in a few," and Kira went inside. He came out later, the bottle of golden liquid in his hand.
"Want to share with me?" She asked, Kira smiled and produced two straws.
"I was hoping you'd ask that," He said. And the two shared the precious little bottle together.
"Thank you for this day, Kira. I'll always remember how you treated me to strawberry ice cream and apple juice" Flay said.
"You make my days worth living, Flay, and I've said to you a million times, but I love you."
"And I love you, always." And they kissed.
Author's notes: What can I say? I'm a sucker for Kira/Flay fluff. I've been having these little oneshots bouncing around, and you need to share them. For my regular readers, fear not, chapter 28 of Song of the Storm Wolf IS in the works, It's just I've gotten a new job and things need to settle down. It should be finished within the week or so, I just need to decide where to end it.
