AN: So yeah this Is just a short story idea I had, I have no plans of really continuing it but if you guys really like it then I might consider it. (Also I've never played D&D before so if I get the mechanics wrong, sorry and don't roast me.)
"Come on Will! Cast a fireball!" Lucas said as he practically threw his juice box at him.
"Yeah come on Will! You're our only chance!" Dustin said as he looked on at him, optimistic that Will could roll an exact twenty.
"I cast... FIREBALL!" Will said as he threw the die at the table bouncing slightly. The die sat there about to land on twenty, but just as quick it began to tip the other way and ended up on landing on a three.
"Will the Wise's fireball is a dud, blasting off in his own face, the Lich takes its opportunity and strikes down every single one of you, Will is killed by the blow, and with no healer, you two suffer the same fate." I said as I pointed over to Dustin and Lucas.
"Game. Fucking. Over." Dustin said as he leaned back in his chair, his head in his hands.
"Ha, that campaign was tough wasn't..." I said before trailing off as I began to hear my radio go off, the one I used to talk to everyone.
"Mike..."
I ran over to the radio after I heard that familiar voice come through the radio, shrouded in intense static.
"El! El are you there! Please! If you can talk to me, Please!" I practically yelled into the radio.
"Guys, guys! I heard her..." I said before turning around to see Lucas, Will, and Dustin all sitting still as statues at the table, their backs faced away from me.
"Guys are you okay?" I said as I began approaching them, completely unmoving as I made my approach. I reached out my arm to touch Lucas's shoulder when I heard it come from behind me this time.
"Mike?"
I looked at her, my eyes wide in surprise.
"Eleven?" I asked rubbing my eyes slightly before looking back at the girl standing in front of me.
"Eleven!" I yelled running toward her, my arms flying in front of me as I reached out to hug her, that is until I ran straight through her, Eleven turning into a puff of smoke straight after, the room seeming to lose all of its light straight after.
"No Eleven! ELEVEN!" I yelled out looking around me until I turned around to see my friends all standing now but...
Blood was leaking out of their eyes and ears, just like what happened at the school with Eleven when she killed those people.
"Mike..." They all whispered approaching me.
"Mike." They said as they were mere feet in front of me. Things began to go black, my vision fading, going in and out until I was splashed with the light of the basement once again.
I looked at them, they were completely normal, except for the concerned look on each of their faces.
"Mike are you okay?" Will asked as he put his hand on my shoulder.
"Yeah but what about you guys? You guys had blood leaking from your eyes a second ago!" I said looking at them with wide eyes, causing each of them to look at each other with a confused look.
"We don't know what the hell your talking about Mike, but if anyone's been bleeding it's you." Lucas said as he pointed to my face.
I wiped all around my face, before stopping right under my nose. I pulled my hand away to find small drops of blood on it. In that moment it all finally clicked.
"Mike? You going to answer our question?" Lucas asked, his look of concern replaced with one of just complete confusion.
"I couldn't be better." I said with a smile. It wasn't much to go off but I finally had a sign.
She was out there, she had to be.
