Song of Creation
The Trees remember
Divine Waters echo
The powerful melody
Of the Song of Creation
The stanzas that rippled through the ground
Carving valleys and mountains
Ravines and crags, riverbeds and ocean floors
Shaping the Landscape of Narnia
The notes that drop to the earth
And spring up as trees, bushes and grass
Trees and bush awakened by Aslan's breath
Dryads open their eyes for the first time
The ringing tunes that give birth to waters
Rushing with laughter into their beds
Inhabited by River Gods and Naiads
Ever flowing with the testimony of Aslan's joy
The melodies that resonate in the skies
Mapping the steps of each star's dance
All night long they twirl, they move
Telling a story to the glory of Aslan
The verses that whisper across the realm
Stirring the Creatures from their slumber
Talking Animals, Centaurs, Satyrs and Fauns
All forever will praise Aslan's Name
In the beginning there was Aslan
In the beginning there was the Song
Each verse, each note, each sweet melody
Brings Life, Hope and Joy
From this Song, Narnia was born
This magical Land, the seat of Aslan's grace
Full of Beauty, color and Life
Pulsating with the echoes of the Song
Hear these echoes in the whispers of the Trees
Listen for it in the ripples of the Waters
From generation to generation echoes have been passed down
For only Aslan Himself can sing it all.
A/N : I wrote this one after reading Elecktrum's Into the West. I loved the scene when Peter leaves and practically all of Narnia assembles to see him off and they start singing some of the notes of the Song of Creation. So thank you Elecktrum for writing such inspiring work.
May you all forever stay nestled between the Lion's Paws.
Worshipper.
