"Wanda, I have something for you." Vision dug awkwardly in his pocket.

Since he was playing human, he had taken to wearing actual clothing rather than constructing them from his own molecules. He still wasn't used to the extra coverings. It was strange for Wanda to see someone who normally moved with such an elegant grace be stiff and unsure.

After a few moments of fussing in his pocket, he withdrew a small velvet heather green box.

"What is it?" Wanda looked at the box with wonder.

"It is customary," Vision started, opening the box. Its tiny hinge squeaked in agreement.

A reflection of rainbow colored light glinted from the stone inside.

"Oh my," Wanda's gloved hands covered her mouth, her eyes wide. "What…"

"It's a Herkimer diamond, a double-pointed quartz crystal. Very rare. They're primarily found in a small town in New York." Vision explained.

"It's beautiful." Wanda smiled at the ring and the man before her. "What for?"

"I know a carbon diamond is the customary offering for a proposal, but in this case," Vision sank gracefully to one knee still holding the ring out. "I thought something a little more unique would be appropriate. Wanda-"

"Yes!" Wanda said too loudly and clasped his bare hands in her gloved ones. "Yes, Vision. I'll marry you."

"That's what I hoped but..." Vision looked puzzled. "But I didn't get to ask you yet."

"I'm sorry," Wanda laughed as a happy tear ran down her cheek. "Go ahead."

Vision cleared his throat. "Wanda Maximoff, will you marry me?"

"Yes, of course." Wanda leaned down to kiss him.

She pulled off her gloves and switched the ring on her left ring finger to her right so Vision could place the new one in its place. He stood and embraced her, lifting her off her feet.

Had anyone been watching they would have noticed an otherwise normal-looking couple floating half a foot off the ground.
