"Okay, Trucy, you need to do this," the fifteen year old told herself, walking inside the Wright Anything Agency living room.

Sitting comfortably on the couch, bottle of grape juice in hand, Phoenix was too busy reading a newspaper to notice his daughter. Trucy bit her lip and took a few hesitant steps towards him.

"Daddy?"

"Yeah, sweetie?" Phoenix asked, still engrossed in reading the current political scandal.

Trucy sat down next to him and looked at her hands, neatly folded on her lap. She then grabbed one of the empty grape juice bottles from the floor and began fiddling with it. "Well, uhm…"

Phoenix looked up at her and noticed she look somewhat distressed (or that's what his experience at reading expressions was telling him, at least). "Trucy, is something wrong?"

Trucy quickly shook her head. "No, no, Daddy! It… it's just that I need to, uh, talk to you."

"Okay, shoot," Phoenix pressed on, starting to become worried.

Trucy seemed to be looking for the right words. "Okay…You know that I love you very much and uhm, I—"

"Ooooh," Phoenix interrupted, sounding very relieved. "You just made another box of grape juice disappear, that's all. For a second there, I was worried something serious had happened."

"Daddy! This is serious! And no, I didn't make another box of grape juice disappear! That only happened once," Trucy retorted, annoyed at her father.

"Okay, fine, fine. I'm listening. What's this serious thing you want to talk about?" he indulged, thinking that whatever was wrong with her probably wasn't serious at all.

"As I was saying, you know I love you for who you are and well, I just wanted you to know that I'm okay with it, Daddy."

"Huh? Okay with what?"

Trucy giggled. "Daddy, you don't have to pretend you don't know what I'm talking about," she teased, grabbing his hand. "I don't mind having a new second daddy instead of a new mommy."

"Trucy, we've tal- Wait, what?"

Trucy smiled sympathetically. "Daddy, I know you like Mr. Edgeworth."

"WHAT?"

"Maya told me, Daddy. I asked her if she had any idea why you didn't seem interested in finding a new mommy for me and she told me it's because you like Mr. Edgeworth but you're too shy to say anything."

"M-Maya said that?"

"Uh-huh! That's why I just wanted you to know that I'm okay with it. I'm happy as long as you're happy." Before he could say anything, she got up and clapped her hands together. "I'm so glad we had this talk, Daddy." She kissed him on the forehead and skipped away, feeling very good about herself.

When Trucy was out of sight, Phoenix's hand shot for his cellphone. He flipped it open and just as he was about to dial Maya's number, he noticed he had a text message from Maya herself.

"So, Nick, who's gonna be the woman in your relationship? You or Edgey? ;D "

Duh, Maya, we all know the answer to that.

I'm looking at you, Mr. Frilly Prosecutor.
