Author's Notes: This format was a bit different for my normal style. It was a project for school that amounted to a little more than I thought it would. Originally there was no real ending to it and it seemed sort of... empty without one, so I created something in a different style to tie it together.

Most fear it
Pass you by

Burning
bright
Pass you by
Away from sight
Burning bright
In the
shadows
Deep and shallow
In the shadows
Most fear it
Deep
and shallow
Wandering spirit

They say when a life passes,
And a person crosses to the other side,
That they disperse
into shining pyreflies.
Bright in light
And beautiful in
color
Expressing the heart and soul.
Shaped in the vision of
a loved ones most cherished memory.
Though they are gone they
still wait in the distance;
For their one true soul;
Mate of
destiny.
A person who waits as well for the same visions as the
wandering soul.
