Backstory time:
So I was just waiting for a friend to update a fic, listening to some P!atD, when I feel this wave of Death Note feels coming along. And I'm just dying of pure boredom, and I'm like, 'Hey, imma write something! Maybe it'll get my friend's attention!'
So I did. I'm such an attention hog, I know. She read it, and was randomly like: Crap, post that right now!
Me: 'Yes Ma'am!' *uploads fic*
So now you have this. It's kinda crack, kinda character analysis, mainly a mess. My rhymes may induce cringing fits.

Light is a psycho,
Also known as Raito.
L is a detective,
And his methods prove effective.
Mello is a blonde,
He's cooler than James Bond.
Near is a sheep,
A sheep that says beep.
Light is a killer
His story is a thriller.
L is a smart-ass,
With lots and lots of sass.
Mello's a young fellow,
Who eats chocolate and Jello.
Near is a boy,
Who likes to play with toys.
Light is a savage
Who's probably more than average.
L's obsessed with sweets,
It's a wonder he still has teeth.
Mello blows up places
And is a menace to many faces
Near is an albino,
Who looks nothing like a rhino.
Light has many fans,
He may as well have his own brand.
L is really weird,
But at the same time very feared.
Mello's sidekick was Matt,
But he got shot just like dat
Near solved the case,
And helped the human race.
Light was like God
But worse, he was a fraud.
L served to be just,
His soul pure ash and dust.
Mello had a scar,
Plus a fancy car.
Near dressed in white,
He really was an odd sight.
Light was so handsome,
Except when he let Sayu be ransom.
L was a creep,
Who got beaten by a sheep.
Mello, oh sweet Mello,
Was such a salty fellow.
Near was like no other,
Made me think of my little brother.
Light was a player,
Definitely not a stayer.
L deserved better,
Plus a warmer sweater.
Mello hated Near,
Whenever he saw him he'd sneer.
Near shut away the world,
But wouldn't let the chaos unfurl.
Light got caught,
And was also shot.
L dropped his spoon,
And died too soon.
Mello blew up,
And seriously messed up.
Near survived,
But never acted alive.
