Oi! Look! A sequel! Little Kwan is not so little in this sequel (she's 12)
I present to you Sun Been Down For Days.
Sun been down for days
A pretty flower in a vase
A slipper by the fireplace
A cello lying in its case
She was curled up in a little ball, her "cousin's" thumb in his mouth as they slept in the field of flowers, her mother and godmother weren't too far, their children exhausted themselves playing. Kwan opened one eye and smiled at the toddler, her godparents' little three year old, Rai. She closed her eye, over hearing her mothers
"They get so big, so fast! It still feels like Rai was only a baby yesterday." Ching exclaimed as her mother made a "uh-huh" sound from her mouth.
"Rai is defiantly like Abyo, like father like son I guess." Kwan stopped listening for a moment…father…what was her father like? No one ever spoke of him when she asked. They automatically changed the subject, asking her how school went and what she learned.
She heard rustling as she felt a pair of arms lift her up, she heard her mothers giving each other a kiss on each cheek as their way of saying good bye.
Soon she's down the stairs
Her morning elegance she wears
The sound of water makes her dream
Awoken by a cloud of steam
She pours a daydream in a cup
A spoon of sugar sweetens up
Kwan yawned as her mother sat her in her bed, Kwan honestly fell asleep in her mother's arms. Her panda doll, Hamilton, was automatically brought close to her chest as her mother gave her a kiss on the cheek. Pucca walked away from her daughter's bed towards the door, turning off the light. Kwan heard her mother whisper 'I love you'. As she closed the door behind her.
Yeah…not a good way to end a chapter…Iunno, maybe? Yew all tell me!
Oh and be sure to review, I do NOT accept flames, but constructive criticisms I can take :D so don't go trolling! LOL
