"Kim you need to sleep" Jack pleaded.

"No" I refused.

"Kim you haven't slept in days" Jack whined.

"Jack, I said no" I yawned.

"Why won't you sleep?" Jack asked.

"It's not my choice" I said and Jack looked at me confused "Don't you think I want to sleep?"

It would be hard to explain. Ever since Jack and I started dating it's been hard to sleep. I've been having nightmares but I can't remember what has happened in them.

"Why can't you sleep?" He asked.

"I just can't Jack, can we drop it" I asked as I walked out of the school because school had just ended.

…

"Kim, you are too tired to do this. You could get hurt" Jack said. We had just gotten to the dojo and I went up to a dummy very sloppy.

I ignored him and tried to hit the dummy.

"Wow what's up with Kim?" Jerry asked as he came out of the boys changing room.

"She hasn't slept in days" Jack said as he quickly brought his gaze back to me.

"I'm not letting you do this to yourself" Jack whispered as he went up to me and hugged me. I thought it was just a hug so I put my arms around his neck and my face on his shoulder, but he had something different in mind. He picked me up and brought me to Rudy's office and laid me down on the couch. I obeyed Jack because we both knew he was going to win this.

About ten minutes later I woke up but kept my eyes closed tightly, bringing myself from the nightmare to reality. I felt cold but also sweaty at the same time. Rudy came in casually in his office I was guessing to check up on me and saw me in this state and tried to calm me down, the dreams feel so real but I still can't remember a thing.

"Kim, it's okay" Rudy tried, then he opened the door to his office and said "Jack get in here now!"

"She won't calm down" Rudy freaked.

"Whoa whoa whoa Kim it's okay" Jack said.

As soon as he put his hand on my arm I felt perfectly fine, other than being extremely tired. I was calm.

I still had a tear rolling down my cheek for some reason, I wish I could remember.

I slowly laid back down, sinking my way back into the couch.

"Are you sure you will be okay?" Jack said worried.

I nodded and as soon as I closed my eyes I felt Jack's hand release from my arm and I fell asleep. Not too long after, I started freaking out and Jack came to my side. I guess as long as I'm in contact with him, I'm fine.

~Jack's pov~

After I put Kim to sleep in Rudy's office I heard him say "Jack get in here now!"

I stopped what I was doing and rushed myself into his office and went to Kim's side and put my hand on her arm.

She instantly calmed down. It was strange.

I stayed with Kim while she slept, she slept peacefully this time. It was getting uncomfortable so I laid down next to Kim on the couch and let her sleep.

It seemed like that she could sleep fine when I was with her. But only when I was with her.

She later woke up and smiled as she saw me next to her.

"Kim, why can't you sleep?" I sighed.

"I keep having nightmares" She whispered, looking down

"What are they about?" I asked softly

"I don't know. I can't remember any of them" Kim said looking in my eyes.

"When did they start?" I breathed.

"When we started dating"

She didn't look sad, but this is somehow my fault.

"Did I do anything? Is it because of me?"

"You didn't do anything. Just stay here"
