Author's Note: Just some Chobits poem-ish drabble told in Chii's point of view. I wasn't feeling really inspired even though I promised myself I would update at least one of my progressing works today. So I came up with this junk. It probably sucks.

Chii awoke that first day.

Chii did not know where that place was.

Chii saw a man.

Hideki.

That's what his name was.

Hideki taught Chii many things.

Chii is happy when Hideki is in the room.

Without Hideki with Chii, everything feels empty.

Chii is glad.

Chii feels warm inside with Hideki around.

Hideki has Chii helped lots of times.

This warm feeling, Chii did not notice at first.

But Hideki said being happy is a great feeling.

Hideki also said … happiness is the smiling expression on someone's face.

So what is happiness really?

What is the meaning of the word love?

Chii does not understand what happiness is or love.

Hideki is my happiness.

Though Hideki does not only make the smile appear on Chii's face.

Hideki makes Chii want to be with him forever.

Chii loves Hideki.

And Chii wants to make Hideki happy.

When Hideki is not smiling, Chii gets worried.

So Chii will do anything to have Hideki not be unhappy.

Hideki is kind to Chii.

Chii smiles when Hideki does.

Chii loves him with Chii's whole heart.

Hideki said once people who love each other hold hands.

Chii wants to hold hands with Hideki.

Because of that … Chii wants to understand what is happiness and love too.

It is more than this tingling feeling in my chest.

It is much more than the smiles Chii puts on.

Happiness.

Love.
