~The Cullens~

I had been dreading this day since I heard the news. Rolling my eyes through class wasn't going to help. And if I could think when I was a baby, I would have dreaded this day since I was born. Mike was drooling over me; just the thing I needed so I could make more friends. Jessica was obviously hating on me right now, trying to give me the best looks she could.

"Hey Ez," Mike said, for the millionth time since I had sat down. Yes, Mike! I see you!

First day at school, and already, I had a nickname. Esme to Ez—how creative.

Attention; gross. I'd gag right now if I could. Mentally, I hated attention. And you could also say, physically, I did too.

My caramel hair was tied in a bun as I had just arrived from my gym class, sighing as I tried to avoid other gazes from around the lunchroom as hysterical cries came from our table. My eyes just couldn't resist falling upon the one table that was suddenly silent.

"Who are they?" I asked, my eyes obviously telling the entire story as my eyes pointed towards the porcelain pale people in the back.

Jessica snickered. "The Cullens. They're Mr. and Mrs. Cullens' foster kids."

"Alice Cullen and Jasper Hale, the little dark haired girl, and the Emo looking blonde are like, dating. Same goes for Rosalie Hale, the gorgeous blonde chick and Emmet, the big guy."

"But they all look . . . the same," I gasped at their sickly pale skin.

"That's the weird thing," Jessica kept her voice down. "They're all . . . together."

"Jessica," Angela scoffed. "They're not related or anything."

"But they . . . live together," Jessica argued.

I tried to tune them out as I compared them to each other with no success of finding a single difference.

They all looked particular the same; especially their liquid topaz eyes that couldn't be compared to, even with contacts. But one particular person caught my eye. It was like he was glowing or something, because his hair was a golden-blonde, and he was totally gorgeous. He caught me off guard, with his designer addition of scarves.

"And him?" I asked, a final time.

"Carlisle Cullen?" Jessica laughed. "No need to bother, he's the one who likes to keep to himself. I heard he's aiming to be a doctor or something."

"Oh," was all I could say at this point, moistening my lips as his expressionless face curved into a slight smile, making me feel like fainting.

"God, he's so hot," Angela sighed, blushing. "Maybe he'll operate on me."

"Angela!" Jessica shrieked. "You're so immature!"

And as hard as I imagined, I couldn't picture myself with him. But there was always that question.

What if . . .?

did i fail teambella5? should i throw this story away and cry myself to sleep from now on? (cause i WILL!)
