I know I was never the mother you deserved, I'm not the mother you had a picture of in your head for the past twenty years. Regardless, I have and always will love you more than anything. You should never question that. If you were ever going to trust me on anything, trust me on that. You may learn things about me that don't portray me in the best light, things I'm not proud of. The best thing I ever did in my life was and always will be, you.
Take care of yourself and for your own sake and the sake of your happiness, don't let ridiculous rules stand in your way. Remember, your job is not your life. Love is the greatest gift you could ever recieve and I wish that I had realised that soone. Maybe if I had things would be different and I might not be writing this letter.
