"I'm pretty sure D-O-U-G-H-N-U-T-S is the correct spelling." Tara stated, a playful grin stretching across her face.

"Well I'm sure it's D-O-N-U-T-S." Amy argued.

Amy and Tara were at Zilker Metropolitan Park in southern Austin strolling hand and hand down a cement path lazily. The two had spent the afternoon swimming in Barton springs pool and were now headed toward the hillside theatre to see a concert being held by the local chamber orchestra.

At the moment they were discussing a text Amy had sent Tara when they were in the middle of planning their second (well technically first) date. Tara had casually mentioned that Amy's spelling of doughnuts in the text was incorrect.

"No, no, no hon, that's short hand. Slang if you may."

"Slang!"

"Yup, 'you're' spelling came out in the 1800s and was later popularized by Dunkin' Donuts in the 20th century but 'my' spelling is not only the original one but the one that's used in the dictionary."

Amy suddenly stopped walking, Tara followed suit, and dropped Tara's hand as she turned to face her. "Why do you know that?"

Tara gave Amy a sheepish grin. "Saw an article about it on Yahoo this morning around the same time you sent me the text. Decided to mess with ya a bit."

Amy smiled and reached out to smack Tara's arm. "You're terrible!"

"I think you mean Tara-ble, that's the T-A," Tara paused as she noticed Amy's traveling below her face "Amy?" Tara asked with a grin.

Tara knew exactly what Amy was staring at. After the women had gone swimming earlier they had decided to only get half dressed. Amy was currently still in her dark blue bikini top and wearing denim shorts. On her feet were flips flops that matched the color of her bikini top. Tara, like Amy, was still in her black bikini top and wearing a long black and white skirt. She was also barefoot.

Right now Amy's eyes were directly on Tara's chest, which the bikini was just barely covering.

"Amy?" Tara called again, a little louder.

Amy's eyes shot up to Tara's face and her cheeks began to grow red. "U-uh…yeah?" When she noticed the smirk on Tara's face she looked down guiltily. "Sorry."

Tara laughed. "Why sorry? It's okay to look. God knows I've been this entire time!"

Amy looked up at Tara shocked. "Seriously? You look at me?"

"Are you kidding me?" Tara stated in disbelief. "Oh silly Ms. Raudenfeld," Tara said shaking her head. "not only are you sweet and dorky but you are hot as hell as well!"

Amy's face broke out into a huge smile. "Really?"

Tara moved over to Amy so that their faces were nearly touching; Amy could feel Tara's still wet hair on her chest. Then Tara looked Amy directly in the eyes before she let her own eyes glide slowly down every inch of Amy's body and then back up at the same agonizingly slow pace. When Tara's dark eyes finally met Amy's again, Amy visibly gulped and shivered. Tara looked as though she could devour her.

"Really." Tara stated slowly.

In the distance the two women could hear the sound of violins beginning to tune.

Amy took a deep breath and reached for Tara's hand again taking it gently in her own. "Uh, we should probably get to the concert."

Tara smiled at her. "Yeah."

As the two began to walk down the path towards the theatre again Amy began to grin.

"You're so much better than the pharmacy."
