A/N: To the tune of "To Be a Farmer's Boy," from an old record album of my parents' called "The Sounds of England."  This was written shortly before the U.S. premiere of Tamers.  It's a song about the proud tradition of Digidestined leadership.

It all began out in Japan that fateful summer's day,

When seven children at a camp were swiftly whisked away.

When their Digimon met their new friends, they were overwhelmed with joy;

There'd be a fight

For good and right

Led by a goggle boy,

Led by a goggle boy.

The creatures learned to Digivolve, and so won in many fights,

And with their partners, journeyed on through many days and nights.

They were a team who found a way through every evil ploy;

They won the fight

For good and right

Led by a goggle boy,

Led by a goggle boy.

Years later, a new evil came; new Chosen were needed,

So Davis went to the Digiworld, and this is what Tai said:

"You were very brave for your first day here, but your goggles were destroyed,

You're next in line,

Here, take mine

And be a goggle boy,

And be a goggle boy."

The goggle boys grew into men, and their adventures were done,

But the Digiworld goes on and on, and it chose a baker's son.

Now Takato has a Digimon, and a D-Arc to employ,

He will lead the fight

For good and right

And be a goggle boy,

And be a goggle boy.
