Disclaimer: yeah…teen titans… still not mine…

I always knew we were soul mates. From the day she literally fell from heaven to earth she has been my angel. Always the light of my day, and the reason for getting up in the morning.

I live for the moments when I can hear her sweet laugh, or when she touches me, brushes up against me, hugs me, or best of all, the time she kissed me.

FLASHBACK

"Goata! Goata boo ogna!" this strange girl from another planet said to me in a language I did not understand. Obviously a threat, or she would not have raised her glowing fists to me. She was beautiful. Her fiery red hair, and shining green eyes, placed on a perfect face.

"Easy." I replied. "I want to help." With that I took her hands and picked the lock on her large handcuffs, setting her free. "There. Now maybe we can be…" Her lips pressed against mine abruptly cut me off in mid-sentence. This kiss was from a physco alien girl terrorizing the town, but a million fireworks went off in my head, and I felt like I was flying…

END FLASHBACK

I suddenly hear a lovely voice quietly humming. I whip my head around and there she is. Starfire, my red headed beauty who I loved so much. With everything in my heart. It sure did take me long enough to realize it.

"Hello, friend Robin, for your thoughts I will pay six grefnacks." She said to me sweetly. Typical Starfire. That was her way of asking me what I was thinking about.

"Nothing really, just the day we met." I look at her as she plops down on the couch next to me, her soft hair swinging.

"Yes… a day that turned into one of the most glorious things in my life. She smiles at me, and you could nock me down with a feather. "I often think of that day, as well."

"I… from the first time I saw you… I knew there was something between us. Even stronger than true friendship." Wow. I had practically just spilled my guts to her right then and there.

"Yes." She says with a dreamy far away look on her face. "You are the most glorious person I have ever known." Then, she leans in and gives me one of her bone crushing hugs. That I love. So much. She slowly draws back from me, though I don't want it to end. As she is moving away I notice how close her face is to mine. Then, without really even thinking, I kiss her.

I never remember being so in love before. And as she begins to respond, our kiss deepens, and we sink into each other. My hands are roaming down her back and hers are clenched in my hair.

We slowly, with some difficulty, draw away and rest our foreheads against one another's. Then, before drawing her into another more passionate kiss, I whisper to her, "I love you, and I've always known, you are my soul mate."
