Okay, this a poem about Ianto, I think it may be in the perspective of a part of his mind that's basically telling him the sad facts...*sighs, thinks 'I feel soooo sorry for him'* Anyway, I wrote this after Gavvy Wolf-Kidd wrote hers and I must thank her for giving me some inspiration... and the fact that I'm quite competitive! XD

Anyway enjoy it if you will

He doesn't understand you,

Just pretends to feel for you,

You know that's all he can do,

He can make the pain go away,

If only for a little while anyway.

He broke your heart and he still doesn't know,

He doesn't know if you will stay or go,

What's the point really you have nothing to show,

For your pain or heartache,

Pain so strong you feel you'll break.

Rats, oh how much you hate them now,

Oh if only you could tell them how,

The lines that furrow upon your brow,

Are in response to their reactions,

Rather than your own social retractions.

His kisses, like tamed fire,

Your need for him is oh so dire,

You still hate yourself you were the liar,

The one who played a game of truth,

Oh how could you have been so uncouth?

He's gone, left you alone,

There's no point in having a moan,

Oh but she has to always mutter and groan,

Do you not matter, can they not see,

How much you hurt, oh how cruel can they be?

Returns to you he does, you've no reply for his words,

What should you do, stand here or run and hide,

Dwell on thoughts other than your pride,

Accept he's back and he might never go,

Or steel yourself for the final blow.

What should you do, he's hurt you so bad,

You've lost two friends you've every right to feel sad,

Your nerves are, shall we say, frayed? Just a tad,

Oh why doesn't he leave you be,

Let you wallow in misery?

Because he loves you, you stupid fool,

So stop being grumpy, you stubborn old mule,

You've a job to do, so find the right tool,

Deal with your pain in drips and drabs,

Ignore the hot knives, their continuous stabs,

Your heart is not made of glass.
