Dean shifted gently, the mattress groaning under him. His eyes flickered open, adjusting quickly in the darkened motel room. From there he could see the other double bed, Sammy's form sprawled across it, breathing heavily, and the small alarm clock showed dean the time, 2:45. He sighed rolling over careful not to disturb the sleeping form form next to him. He peered at his companion, the soft skin, short hair ruffled. Suddenly Cas's eyes snapped open "Dean," he rumbled, his voice heavy with sleep. "What's wrong?" His bright blue eyes looked into deans, piercing his soul. He may not have been an angel anymore, but dean felt like he could still read him. "Nothing." Deans hand snaked under the covers and found its way to Cas's, their fingers entwining."I'm not used to sleeping this long." He whispered, placing his forehead against Cas's. "Don't worry about it baby, just go back to sleep."
"Baby," Cas snuggled down the bed nuzzling his head into deans neck. "Thought that was the impala." He mumbled. Dean laughed softly, kissing the top of Cas's head and wrapping his arms protectively around the fallen angels curled form. "Your always my baby." Dean replied, closing his eyes and drifting into sleep.
