Reyna and Jason once were best friends

Together, they vowed, till the very end

They would walk to the villa and laugh, smile and play

She never thought all of it would be taken away

They were elected, her face split into a grin

She was top of the food chain, but would soon sink again

Gwen told her one day, and she had a strong case

And she began to believe she was falling from grace

Then he went missing, leaving no trace

And Reyna fell quicker and quicker from grace

She kept her strict demeanor with a good poker face

She fooled them, but she was totally falling from grace

Then Percy came, but he loved Annabeth Chase

And he was so collected, whilst she fell from grace

She knew with one glance, Piper had taken her place

And why not? After all, Reyna was falling from grace

And he left her again, and she had to embrace

Nothing stopped her from falling from grace

And shots were fired, her legion was encased

In war, and where was Reyna? Falling from grace

She was needed again, and soon it was a race

Against time, which sped up so she could fall from grace

Those thoughts were always present, the ones she tried to erase

But she knew Gaea would win if she let herself fall from grace

In the final battle, she tried hard to brace

Herself, but what good was a praetor fallen from grace?

She was so exhausted and it seemed like her place

Was far, far below the thing we call grace

To the legion she may have felt like a disgrace

As you could only if you fell that hard from grace

They lived happily ever after (Jason and Piper, I mean)

But what happened to his reina, the praetor, the queen?

Oh, wait, oops she's not in that scene.

Years of training gave her good upper-arm strength

The fall from grace was long, but she'd run twice that length

And here's what she thought as Hylla pulled her in to embrace

"You know, I could hoist myself back up to grace"
