Darkness enveloped everything. A faint light washes over me form the spotlight. As I rise from my lying position, I realize I'm in what looks like a park. I start to stand as I try to make sense of the situation. The park was familiar and yet I did not recognize it. Was this a dream? My head is fuzzy, it's hard to think. As I asses the situation I hear a voice call out.

"Hey!" it said. The voice belonged to a man that looked to be around his mid-thirties. He sported green suit with neck-tie and a clean cut. He seems familiar I thought.

"How much longer are you going to stand there?" said his gruff voice.

I stared at him blankly with a quizzical look. It didn't occur to me to respond. Is he part of my dream? I wonder what will happen next. Those were my thoughts.

"Are you deaf or something?!" he growled at me. "Well? … How much longer are you going to just stand there?" I could sense his impatience.

"You're loud." I responded

"So you're not deaf. Well that saves me a lot of trouble" he said in an amused voice.

"…"

"Where am I?" I finally asked.

"Wouldn't you want to know." He said in a sarcastic voice

"Who are you?"

"That's not the question you should be asking"

"I see, so what should I be asking?"

"How the hell should I know, it's not my question."

I frowned. He was being uncooperative. But I wasn't annoyed. My head still wasn't clear. Somehow I felt that this was still a dream. A long silence followed. I studied the man in front of me in more detail. He was around 6'6 and was lean and muscular. His hair was short and cut clean with grey streaking his once black hair. He was of a tanned complexion with sharp piercing eyes. He had an amused yet bored look on his face.

I then started to take notice of my surroundings. The "park" was nothing more than a street lamp, a bench and a few trees planted along the sides. I was standing on stone pavement that looked as if it had been neither touched by rain nor wind and ye and small cracks in a few corners. Beyond the park where the man and I stood, there was nothing. I could hear nothing and smell nothing. Pitch blackness covered the area had it not be for the small glow of the lamp.

"Why am I here?" I finally asked.

"I want to know that too, well I want to know why I'm here too."

"How long have you been here?" I asked calmly

"I've been here ever since this place was here, or maybe it's the other way around." He said as if purposely trying to confuse me.

"Am I the only one here other than you?" I asked.

"I'm not sure, who are you anyways? Do you even know?"

"Me? I am …"Huh? I don't know. Who am I? Rather what am I? I don't know and yet I'm not worried at all. Somehow it all feels natural. Maybe I'm no one. Maybe I'm God. Ah wait its coming back to me. That's right I was …

"I am …
