red snow
i dont own inuyasha only one chapter
the wonderous snow was falling on the final battle field, except the battle was over. naraku lay slain on the ground a ring of red snow all around him. not far off was inuyasha sitting on the ground clinging to the small form of kagome as her life sliped away a pool of blood around her also. sango was crying into miroku's sholder.
" inu...inuyasha?"
"yes kagome?"
"pro..promise me that you will not live...in hate...promise me you will learn...learn to love again."
"kagome you are not going to die!" cried inuyasha.
"inuyasha...im dying...i can feel it...promise me"
"i cant do that...i love you"
"i love you too but you must promise me before i leave."
"then i will never promise it so you can stay here with me"
" inuyasha...PROMISE ME!"
"ok kagome i promise i will not let hate rule my life"
" thank you...i love you" wispered kagome with her dying breath
inuyasha let out a cry of anguish, and sango and miroku held on to each other even tighter.
- world between- (between earth and the after life)
" where am i?"
" kagome"
"yes who is there?"
"its me Midoriko, because of what you did...
-flash back-
naraku was closing in on inuyasha going to deliver the final blow when kagome jumped in the way using all the power within her she obliterated naraku. but losing her life in the process.
-end flash back-
" for your friends so self lessly i will give your life back" said Midoriko
" really, im so happy thank you Midoriko " cried kagome giving the older woman a hug
" there is a catch you may not be able to return to you time"
"i could live with that"
"then i will transport you back"
- back to the world of the living-
just as inuyasha and everyone were getting ready to burry kagome's body, inuyasha heard " inuyasha? sango? miroku? where an i?" comming from the casket
" kagome...kagome's alive help me open this stupid box!"
when they opened the box kagome sat up and looked at everyone with tears in her eyes " im here im really here! im so glad to see you!" she jumped out of the casket and kissed iuyasha who was sitting there in shock at seeing his love alive, but quickly got over his shock and kissed her back. when the broke apart kagome ran to sango and huged her crying, then turned to miroku and huged him also.
" im so glad to see you all!"
"k..kagome how did..how did you come back?" asked sango
" i met Midoriko and she said i could come back because i gave my life for you all."
they asked many more qiuestions but the most important coming form inuyasha who asked kagome to be his mate, and she said yes! (who wouldnt) they lived many long years together with sango and miroku who had gotten married also.
