"Velvetina Marie Snape! You will get down from that tree house now!"

Velvetina, affectionately known as Vel gulped as she heard her mother shrieking like a banshee from the kitchen. Thinking that one of her hidden pranks in the kitchen had been discovered, she rushed to the kitchen as fast as she could, only to see her mother gently holding a drawing that she drew just a few days ago.

The drawing had four people, her father, mother, herself and a little boy.

Her mother's intense green eyes which were unfortunately not inherited by her stared down at her. Lily settled for a soft tone. "Honey," she began, "could you tell me why you drew this drawing? Who is this little boy here?"

"Uh, this little boy is my brother that I wish I could play with!"

Her mother beamed. "Well love, I am very happy to announce that this household is going to welcome the arrival of a little boy from Mummy's tummy in about nine months!"

Vel whooped for joy. "Does Papa know?"

"Not yet, but I am sure he would be delighted. I for one know that he always wished for a little boy to teach him fishing like he taught you so that you would not be so lonely!"

-NINE MONTHS LATER-

At St. Mungos Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries, Lily was resting against the pillow, dead tired from pushing a new bundle of joy to the world. Severus was sitting by her bedside, now gently cradling the newborn as their lovely redheaded daughter laid in one of the children's cots to sleep in.

"What shall be his name Lily?" Severus whispered softly.

"This time, you decide."

"I was never good for names."

"Trust yourself Sev. I know that you won't name your son like the Malfoys did. Just keep it simple!"

"Then I gladly welcome Harry Jordan Snape into our family." Severus kissed the babe's forehead, smiling as he did. Lily wished she had a camera then for it was not often that Severus would do this in public, willingly. He was always private when showing affection. Now they had a complete family, just like they planned when they were in Hogwarts.

A/N: So, how is this short fic? I just wondered how it would be like if they had married and all was peaceful. Well, I feel that this fic is rather simple and to the point.
