Pondering of Shadows

Do you know where the shadows lie?
Or perhaps where their tears fall when they cry?
Do you know from where shadows come? Or for what reason they turn you numb?
Do not ask them for they do not speak.
Cuz in their silence they carry mysterious stengths we cannot peak.
The hide in the darkness and watch us well.
For what reason? Only time will tell.
They come with pain mostly only,
And whisper comfort to the lonely.
In ways their harmless...
In others their not.
Actually, they sound a little like us...
...only more well thought.
