The 2018 Yearly 365 Challenge

Prompt #94 (Word) Rinse

"I can't believe that this happened." Veronica growled as she gently covered the blonde's eyes so she could press some of the warm water onto the sticky forehead and hair. "Keep your eyes close B. I don't want to get the soap in them. I can't believe that you are reduced to bending over a damn bathroom sink; when we have four lockerrooms located in this damn school. Which all of them are currently out of order at the same fu... time!" Her eyes slanted into a deep glare as she thought on what had transpired in the hallways.

"It happens Ronnie." Betty sighed deeply as she tried to her neck; and the back of her shoulders against the skin.

"No it doesn't just happen Betty." Veronica stormed. "This isn't Glee for Christ sake. We don't attend McKinley High school where sushy throwing is a every single second occuarence. This isn't a fucking TV series ... so no Betty this doesn't just happen!"

Betty's right eye opened; "Private schools don't sometimes have a prankster whom tries to iminate a tv series?"

"This isn't a prank Betty." Veroncia shook her head. "Close your eyes. I want to get some soap through your hair. I want to attempt to at least get a little of the sticky substance out of your hair before I drive you to the Pembroke."

"Thanks." Betty sighed in relief as her eyes closed.

After making sure that she got enough hand soap in the blonde's hair; Veroncia carefully rinsed it out; making sure to cover the blonde's closed eyelids so non of the soap could run over the lids. Once she made sure all the soap was truly out of the blonde hair; she sighed. "Well that's the best I can do." She carefully helped Betty back onto her feet; making sure to protect the pale neck as it moved away from the sink. "Let's get you dried off. At least I keep a towel in my locker." She reached over to the ajoining sink and lifted her towel; she handed it over to the blonde. Wrapping her hands across her chest. "Don't worry B. I'll make ZadArch pay for doing this to you."

Betty sighed. "It's not worth it V."

Veronica tilted her chin out.

Betty rolled her eyes. "Fine. I know that I can't talk you out of this."

"Come on let's get you properely cleaned up B." She held out her hand for her best friend to take. She felt warmth once Betty's hand was in her's.

Betty allowed Veronica to guide her out of the girls bathroom into the hallways. Most of the students were looking at her with understanding, and respect. She walked with Veronica towards the exist. It was time to get to the Pembroke so she could finally get cleaned once more.
