The apple never falls far from the tree

13 years after the fall of the rule of Ozai, the gaang came to the fire nation for their annual reunion.

They were all currently in the garden talking to each other. Zuko and Katara were now married with one 9 year old son, Kuru, and a baby coming in the winter. While Aang and Toph had a daughter of the age of 7 named, Airi. Sokka and Suki had children of their own too, but instead went to stay with their Grandad, Hakoda that summer.

Kuru and Airi were currently inside the palace playing.

Zuko stroked Kataras pregnant belly lovingly, smiling up at her when he felt the baby kick while Sokka was sharpening his boomerang and Toph, Aang and Suki reminisced about the good ol' days. Iroh sat beside the tree sipping his tea and watching the adults interact, content about the calmness.

Suddenly they heard a loud child scream "MOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM" followed by the sound of the garden gates being airbend opened.

"Airi what is the matter with you?" Toph stood up quickly and motioned her to come closer.

"Kuru is!!! The royal pain in the butt singed my hair!!!" Airi pointed at her now burnt hair.

"Airi, your language! Now why would he do that?" Toph asked her daughter.

"'Cause he's a psychopathic jerk, that's why! I beat him at arm wrestling and he goes ballistic and burns my hair!!"

In the backround you could hear Iroh whispering to Aang "Feisty just like her mother"

Katara then decided to intervene and called for Kuru in her most stern voice. They heard Kuru closing the garden doors and soon he stepped into their sight.

"Kuru tell Airi your sory and me right now why did you burn Airi's hair" Katara motioned her hand at Airi.

The little boy glared at Airi but gave the girl an aggravated sorry, then turned to her Mom but would not tell her the reason as to why he burnt her hair.

"Kuru tell me why you did it right now" but the boy refused to budge and just shook his head

"I am giving you the count of three to explain yourself or your grounded for a week mister!"

"One….." he looked at his mom nervously

"Two……"

"Thr---"as she was about to finish the last number Kuru screamed "I HAD TO REGAIN MY HONOR!!!" after he said that he ran from the garden and slammed the doors behind him.

They all stared wide eyed at his confession and a slight sence of déjà vu. Then all you could hear was several palms connecting to their heads, Sokkas sniggering and Iroh chuckling

"hahaha this proves the saying, the apple never falls far from the tree"
