Chapter 1: Foreseen
She sat in the room.
She sat and cried out.
The woman watched intently from the window, hidden by the flourishing bushes and trees.
Just watching her.
The young item of interest wrapped her arms tighter around her knees and squirmed into a sitting position.
The elder backed away, fearing discovery, as the girl wiped her eyes restlessly and sniffled.
Her mascara running, her eyeshadow blurred, she looked utterly miserable.
With that thought, the mysterious woman pulled her deep green coat up around her shoulders, closed her eyes, and vanished from sight-not to be seen, or heard from.
