Hidden Bloodlines

Disclaimer - I don't own any of the sly cooper franchise, but OCs are mine

For some their past is clear. For others hazy. Discovery of ones past can alter their perception of the world. But for good or bad it remains to be seen. Do we follow in the footsteps of the father or the mother? Or do we forge a new path entirely?

For years I thought I knew my past and where I was going. However a number of discoveries I've made recently have threw me off course. It has started to make me question every aspect of my life.

I don't think I can stay here and do nothing with the information I've gained any longer. If the higher ups caught wind of the knowledge I process either there would be wide spread panic, more unnecessary orders or perhaps they'd just get rid of me. They've been planning to for a while now anyways.

It doesn't matter as this evil will present its self soon enough. The best thing I can do now is prepare for it. I already know those who are currently involved in fighting this and those who will be, even if they don't yet know it.

One thing is clear to me. I can't do what needs to be done in my current position. I must leave and as soon as possible. No one can know where I am going or what I'm doing; they'd only get in my way. When they need me they'll find me, but until then I shall remain hidden.

As I look at the world around me I see people going about their daily routine, unaware of the danger they're in. I wish I could warn them, but it would probably just end in complete chaos. These people fear the weather never mind what is to come.

No, those who need this information will find out themselves in time. Two weeks should be plenty of time to set all my affairs in order. I'll leave as my last shift ends. I can't afford to waste any time.

End of voice log 1 of soon to be former Inspector Carmelita Montoya Fox

A/N: Sorry this chapter is so short but the next ones will be longer. This story will hopefully be bit more serious than my previous ones. It will be updated more frequently after I've finished writing Framed, but that could take a while. So until next time BYE!
