"Elena Manson. This is Trisha Carson. You two will be roommates as long as you are here at the orphanage." The head master said, shutting the door behind her.

"Well we already know each others name so no need to do that again." Elena sighed sitting down on the bed across from the red head.

"So how did you get here?" Trisha asked, looking at the other girl.

"My mother died. And I didn't have anyone but her so this is where they sent me." Elena says, holding back the tears in her eyes.

"I lost my mother too. My dad, he says he's gonna get me, take me home, but I don't think he will." Trisha eyes go to the wall.

"Why do you say that?" Elena tilted her head to the side. 'For a six year old she did ask a lot of questions.' Trisha thought.

"You wouldn't understand." The eight year old said laying down on the bed.

"Try me. At least you have a dad. Mine walked out. My mom, biological killed my two older sisters. And my mom who adopted me was taken from me too. Now I have no one." The little girl said. Tears falling from her eyes.

"That's not true," Trisha said, pulling the little girl into her arms. "You got me. And if anything you are already my sister." Elena smiled. Hugging the girl again.

"So we can be sisters or best friends?" Trisha nodded. "Even if one of us or we both gets adopted we will still be in contact."

3 months later

"Well isn't this just exciting." The head mistress said coming into the girls room. "Trisha Carson, Tony Stark is here to take you home. Your father, as he would like to have you call him."

A tall man with a goatee and a gentle smile entered the room. Trisha, saw him and ran into his arms. He kisses her head and Elena turned her head to the side.

"Elena Manson, this is Mr. Bruce Wayne. He is here to adopt you. You can take his last name or keep yours how it is. So why don't both you girls pack up and I'll have Mr. stark and Mr. Wayne wait out front for you."

Trisha smiled happily and once Tony and Bruce left Trisha turned to Elena with a cheerful voice grabbing the young girls hands.

"Elena be happy! You have a family. From what I heard Mr. Wayne is a wonderful man and you'll be happy with him." Trisha says, helping Elena back up her bags. "Trust me, you'll be happy."

"But what about you? You're moving away." Elena asked, shyness in her voice.

"I'm just a phone call away. Come on, they're waiting." Trisha says, clipping the bag shut and carrying both bags out. Once in the lobby, Elena hid behind Trisha as the eight year old made her approach.

"C'mon Elena. Don't be shy." Brice said, kneeling down so Elena wouldn't be so scared. Elena crept to Bruce and Bruce offered her his hand and she took it. Trisha smiled and left with her father.

"That your new best friend?" Tony asked.

"Yeah. She's a keeper." Trisha smirked and waved goodbye to Elena as she and Bruce stayed to change her name on the adoption papers.
