Mickey and Minnie were sitting at the entrance to their house.
"Mickey?"
"Yes, Minnie?"
Minnie twiddled her thumbs as she looked at the boy mouse uncertainly.
"We would be in love forever, right?"
Mickey laughed, shaking his head.
"Aw, gee, Minnie, we wouldn't just be in love."
Minnie now had a heartbroken look in her face.
Mickey continued. "We're like husband and wife when we're married, and you're just like the wife mouse that I always want by my side."
"Oh, Mickey..." Minnie squeaked in happiness as she hugged Mickey, the boy mouse giggling as he wrapped the girl mouse in his arms as well.
"So Donald and Daisy are going to sleep in their own house tonight?" Minnie asked.
Mickey nodded. "Their relationship wouldn't work if they didn't use their place."
The two mice kept looking at the sunset for a few seconds.
"Hey, is it true that you were from The Three Mousekeeters movie?"
"Uh-huh. If it wasn't for Donald and Goofy, I'd be nothing but a lonely mouse."
"You're so lucky that you got great two friends of yours."
"Yeah, and I'm also lucky that I've got a great princess like you." Mickey turned to Minnie, and placed his hand over her shoulder, smiling.
Minnie smiled back, and hugged Mickey, nuzzling him.
"Aww...thanks, Mickey! It means a lot to me."
She lied down on the boy mouse's lap, facing him.
"I love you, Mickey."
Mickey laughed, and started scratching the back of Minnie's head. He looked at the sunset.
"You know, Goofy might not be here, but at least I got my princess with me."
Minnie giggled. "And who may that be?" She said, despite knowing the answer.
"Ha-ha, you, silly!"
Mickey hugged Minnie while the girl mouse kissed him repeatedly.
