That little girl knew what was going to come once her father got home from work. When she heard a car she knew he was home so she pressed herself into the corner where no light was visible. Her father had another predictable horrible day. He spilled his coffee and another bimbo in the office turned him down. The little girl, who was only 16, knew what was gonna happen so she hid her little brother in her closet. The creaking of the door sounded her fate. He started to screech, only getting louder. He had done the same thing everyday for the past 5 years to this day when he remembers his beloved wife's death. He blamed her, because she was in the car that fateful night when a drunk driver hit her mother's car killing her mom on impact. She shook away the memory and jumped in front of her father blocking his path to her bedroom. Father decided to take his anger out on the girl instead of her brother. As he beat her, the brother snuck out of the house running to the neighbor's house. When he got there, he tried to get them to call the police. They did not believe him, because their father was respected throughout the community. The little girl finally broke free and snatched her brother, then ran straight towards the thick forest in front of their house. Father sprinted after them, panting and trying to keep up with them. She collapsed on the leaf covered forest floor, her brother still tightly in her grip. Her father gave up searching for them. He went back home and drank himself to the point of passing out.
~~time lapse~~
She felt somebody very warm slither one arm behind her back and the other under her knees lifting her into the air. She grabbed out for her brother trying to protect him from the world. After a while she stopped struggling and she curled back up blacking out. When she regained all of her senses she felt something warm being dabbed on her forehead. When she opened her eyes she saw a beautiful women with three long scars going down the side of her face. "What's your name?" a deep raspy voice from across the room. The sound startling the girl. She looked into the eyes of the speaker who froze when the locked eyes.
