It was after graduation and Kim and Ron find themselves in Egypt fighting Drakken and Shego to keep them from turning the pyramids into giant atomic bombs. They had just defeated Drakken and where heading toward the exit when Ron tripped over a trip wire setting every trap off between them and the door. The door was closing fast, they made a run for it. Kim slid under the door but Ron didn't make it, the door shut sealing Ron inside.
Kim, determined to get the door open, she starts banging on the door but nothing happens. Ron, trapped on the inside, is pulled into the shadows by what appears as a pair of red eyes. Meanwhile, outside the pyramid Kim runs into town to find help. She finds a shaman who knows everything about the pyramids and she tells him the story. He rises quickly and says we must get your friend out of the pyramid.
Back in the pyramid, Ron finds himself on the floor and a man standing in front of him. He gets up and was about to ask where he was when the man stops him and says " You are in the pyramid you are not hurt but I cannot say the same for your friend." Suddenly a wall spins around to revile Kim shackled to the wall. Realizing its Kim, Ron acts on instinct and unleashes the power of the monkey on the man but Ron is easily defeated by the man. Ron asks " how did you beat me so easily?" The man says " The power of the Sphinx and that is not your friend it is merely a dumby. Now follow me if you wish to become more powerful." and they leave the room.
Outside the pyramid Kim and the shaman arrive at the pyramid " How are we going to get in?" the shaman raises one of the bricks on the pyramid and it reviles nine buttons. The shaman enters a code and the door opens but Ron isn't there. They enter and the shaman leads the way.
The man leads Ron into a room with machines and ornaments "The man says here is where you will gain your power but first we must perform some tests." The shaman explains what is going to happen to Ron " Your friend will be drained of his monkey power if he is not saved."
