I watched the soft flakes fly high from the sky. Must be peaceful, I thought. I watched the lights flicker, and cursed silently. Carly'd called earlier saying to come. Didn't she know I was snowed in? I grimaced at the last of the light, and went over to my cell phone on the table.

"Freddie?"

"Yeah? Sam? You okay?"

"Yeah! Just could you come to my house? Help me get to Carly's?"

"Sure, I'll be right there."

I sighed as I hung up the phone. This was gonna be a long night.
