Hi this is my first FanFiction so hopefully it will be half decent. Hope you enjoy :)

Percy's POV

"Are you rejecting my offer!" A mighty voice bellowed.

"Yes lord Zeus, I mean no disrespect but I would appreciate it if you could bestow another, more practical gift." Zeus sat on his large golden throne, pondering Percy's decision.

"Very well boy, speak and if it is within our abilities we will grant this request!"

"Well Lord Zeus," I started, "this whole Titan war could have been avoided if you gods had paid more attention to your kids." Thunder rumbled in the distance. Percy continued, "I request that the gods claim all their children, the Hermes cabin should not be filled in with anymore unwanted demigods." Percy paused, "the minor gods should also have cabins at camp, and Hestia and Hades should be allowed on the Olympus council.

The gods looked quite annoyed by this request my Zeus sighed and said,"very well it will be so." The other gods nodded in agreement. Then it was Poseidon's turn to speak.

"Is there anything else Percy? Maybe something for yourself." I thought about it before deciding,

"Could you please erect a monument here on Olympus honoring the huntresses that fought to help defeat the Titan army?" Artemis nodded in approval. If I didn't know better she was smiling at me.

"We will have that arranged." Zeus said.

(Line break)

The party on Olympus was legendary! Everyone was dancing to the 9 muses music in a giant ball room. The food was beyond excellent. But I was exhausted. I crawled into my bed and fell asleep the moment my head hit the pillow.

Normally you have nightmares when your a demigod, tonight was the exception. Me and Annabeth were dancing alone to the sound of the best music that I had ever heard. "I love you seaweed brain" she said, our lips were barely 5 inches apart, she leaned in, and we kissed in bliss.

I suddenly awoke with a thud. "Owww" I said out loud. He managed to somehow fall out of his bed. Feeling like a idiot i got up and was about to get back into my bed when I heard laughter, Annabeth's laughter.

I decided to investigate. Creeping out of my cabin I slowly walked to the dining pavilion.

Inside the pavilion was Annabeth kissing a kid from Ares cabin! I was furious, how could she do that to me! Then the sadness hit me and I quickly ran into the woods, tears forming in my eyes.

I kept running. Dashing through the trees until I was well out of the camp boundaries. Hopping over falling logs and ducking under low branches. Tears pouring from my face.

When I could run no more I simply collapsed. Screaming into the dirt with sorrow and pain. How could she do this to me!

"What's wrong young demigod"

I looked up and saw a sad looking goddess of the hearth looking over me.

"That Bitch cheated on me," I said venomously, "she cheated on me over a little punk from the Ares cabin."

Hestia looked concerned. "Everything is gonna be alright Percy" she said soothingly.

The words seemed to have an effect on me. My breathing slowed and my tears stopped flowing.

Wiping the tears of my face I turned to Hestia and said "thanks."

"Your welcome Percy, you helped me return to my throne on Olympus and for that I am grateful"

"Lady Hestia I think I need some time alone to think." I told her.

"I understand Percy, but before I leave you I want to bestow a gift upon you." Hestia said I looked dumbfounded by her words. She continued, "I will bestow upon you my blessing, you will have control over fire and will be able to summon any home cooked meal." A bright flash temporarily blinded me.

"Thank you for your kindness Lady Hestia, but you didn't have to."

"Oh I insist child," she paused, "your new powers will require some getting used to, however in time you will master them. A blessing from a goddess also enhances your other attributes, such as your water powers and your physical fitness" I smiled at her last statement.

"Good luck Percy." And with a flash the goddess was gone.

This is gonna follow a few story points from other FanFics but hopefully I can add unique and interesting story elements. I already have an interesting idea for the "bad guys". Feel free to guess who or what it might be.
