Oh Peter...yet a part of her was drawing her back to the nursery. She pulled away hesitantly. "Never is an awfully long time." Pink candied lips turned upward into a daring heartmelting smile. Wendy could almost feel the soles of her feet aching to take wing and leave the earth behind. Woman woman let go of me, she cried silently and stepped off the ledge--airborne.
