I Loved You All Along

A poem I wrote from Naomi's POV after seeing the last episode of Skins series 4. It's her talking to Emily.

I loved you when I didn't really know you,

All I wanted to was come and show you,

How I cared,

And that picture I kept of us,

But it teared,

I loved you when you sang that stupid song,

All I wanted to do was sing along,

I missed you throughout the holidays,

In oh so many confusing ways,

I didn't contact you for fear of rejection,

Instead I gave some boys a proper erection,

If you've heard this before just sing along,

But believe me when I tell you I love you all along
