"Hey Luna, how you feelin'?"
Neville asked as he sat down next to her on the four poster bed dropping the sword of Gryffindor on the floor. Only part of the castle was left, and it was the Ravenclaw tower, were Luna had stayed all seven years. Everything had been bitten by the strong smoke and fire from other towers though, and she was running her fingers along the singed bed comforter. She shook her hair out, a blood red mud mixture flinging off of the platinum strings.
"Better now that I know its done." she said tearfully, putting her skinny arms around his sweaty neck. Blood from his forehead gushed down his face and onto her sweater, but she ignored it, too happy to have Neville here to comfort her to be disturbed by such a thing. She pulled back to inspect the damage down to him.
"I think you broke your nose." she realized, looking at the crooked nose.
"Probably." he said, attempting to rub it, but pulling his hand away quickly when it hurt.
"Here, I'm good at these things. Episkey!"
"Ah!" His nosed crunched from the replacement.
"Better?"
"Much better." he commented, a hint of a smile playing on his lips.
"I love you Luna." he added quickly, crushing his lips against hers.
"I love you to Neville." she answered breathlessly when he let her go.
"Come on, let's go to my Gram's house and clean up." he said hopefully, pulling himself, and then her weak body, off of the slighty blackened bed.
"Do you think things will get better Neville?" she asked before they exited.
He took her hand in his and quickly kissed it.
"I know it will."
