This is technically a crossover, because Jake is from the book I'm writing now. I own Jake, Lizzie, Mia, and Nico.

10/26/14- Rewritten. Big time. I read this and decided that it was terrible and it needed a LOT of work.

"We gotta help Sandy!" Jack shouted, jumping off the sleigh and flying towards Pitch and Sandy.

"Hurry, Jack!" Tooth yelled after him.

The black arrow that Pitch had formed out of nightmare sand was currently pointed towards Sandy's back. The unsuspecting guardian was fighting off the advancing Nightmares with golden dream sand whips as Pitch smiled viciously and Jack disappeared into the black and gold calamity.

North snapped the reins and the sleigh shot towards the swirling clouds. Tooth screamed as she saw Pitch release the arrow, sending it shooting at Sandy-

And then there was a bright flash of light, and silence. Pitch and his Nightmares disappeared in an explosion of black sand as North pulled up the sled just short of Sandy's cloud. Tooth flew out and landed on the cloud next to Sandy, staring in shock and grief at what she saw. The other guardians followed her and soon had similar expressions, even Bunny.

Jack was laying on the cloud, thin golden tendrils of dream sand wrapping around his arms and legs and contrasting with the scarlet stains on the front of his sweatshirt. He wasn't moving. He wasn't breathing. He looked... peaceful, almost. Like he was only sleeping.

Sandy was clutching a gray piece of paper in his fist. It was wrinkled and torn, but Bunny was able to make out the words.

Since I'm feeling generous, I'll give you all time to mourn. I will return in a month. Be prepared, for I will be stronger than ever.

2 WEEKS LATER

"Has anyone else noticed the little bugger who's been following us for the last mile?" Bunny muttered. "He's been jumping across the roofs."

Before Tooth looked up, her first thought was that it was Jack, but then she saw a sword and a flash of brown hair as the person jumped over the gap between two buildings. Jack didn't have a sword, or brown hair. Sandy formed a rope out of dream sand, then tied the end in a loop and threw it up onto the roof of the building.

After a couple of seconds, he felt a slight tug and yanked on the rope. A boy came crashing to the ground from the top of the building. There was a sword strapped to his back, and his brown hair was sticking up everywhere. His face was dirty and his brown eyes were sparkling with mischief.

"Fine," he said, running his hands through his hair. "You caught me. Coulda gone another half mile if the kangaroo hadn't seen me."

Bunny stiffened at kangaroo, recalling a time, not too long ago, when he had been called the same thing by someone else. He narrowed his eyes at the boy. "Who are you?"

"Nobody you need to know about," the boy said, turning to leave.

A second later, he had been hit with a ball of dream sand and was laying on the concrete, snoring loudly.

Wow. That is so much better than the old one. Hope you like it! Reviews, please!
