Moana looked over to Maui as he leaned down to feel the current. A small grin came over her face as she slowly stalked behind him.

"Are we going the right way?" she said as she approached him.

Looking over his shoulder he grinned. "Would I get us lost Princess?"

"Well…" with one giant shove she pushed Maui into the water sending herself into a fit of laughter.

"I have been waiting for payback most of this trip" she said between giggles. After hearing no reply she turned towards the water.

"Aww theres no need to be angry, I was just messing around…..Maui?" she looked into the water and saw nothing, no fish, no waves, and no Maui.

"Maui?! Come on this isn't funny!" suddenly she froze remembering his stupid song from when he locked her in the cave.

Covering her mouth she gasped. "He can't float. Oh no!" pulling off her skirts she left herself in only her short underskirt before diving in the water and swimming downwards. The water was deep and she couldn't see to the bottom, returning to the surface she felt warm tears track down her face.

"Oh Maui! What am I going to do?!"

"Well you could begin by apologizing for getting my hair wet" the reply came from behind her. Turning around she stared at the demigod casually sitting on her boat. Huffing she pulled herself on the boat and glared at him.

"That wasn't very funny." She said pulling her skirt back on and tying it with a knot.

"Oh come on it was a little bit, I had you worried there for a little too. Nice to know you care about me." He teased standing back up and resuming his place at the back of the canoe. Moana just huffed again and crossed her arms.

"I was just wondering how I would explain to everyone how the great Maui was defeated by a swim in the ocean. Anyway ocean wouldn't let you drown, you need to return the heart." She stuck her tongue out at him not caring if it was childish.

"However you want to think of it princess. Just know that I know that you care, and its kind of sweet." He grinned as he teased her.

"Just get us to Te Fiti." She said as she sat back on the deck.

Just a short thought that popped into my head and wouldn't leave. Just sweet innocent idea of what could have happened on the long trip. Anyways back to the other stories ive been avoiding. As always R&R
