"Hello?" Vaughn asked as he picked up the phone.
"Michael? This is Jack"
"Hello Jack, is something wrong?" Vaughn asks concerned, since Jack rarely ever calls the house.
"Sydney...she, she...as you know she was in Cuba" Jack says, choosing his words carefully.
"Is something wrong? what happened?" Michael asks, practically screaming.
"Sydney was killed" Jack finally says.
The phone drops from Michael's hands and he bends down and weeps.

"Sydney left behind a husband, a daughter, a father, and a cirle of friends" the priest stated.
Black was the color everybody was wearing. Vaughn's hands was over his daughter, Stephanie, the daughter that Sydney had cherished so much. Stephanie was only 5. She would be like Sydney and never know her mother.
Finally, Vaugh nudged his daughter forward and led her to the coffin, where he placed a single flower. He motioned for Stephanie to do the same. She did.
"BYe-bye mommy" she said softly, but it was loud enough for everyone to hear.
Tears started to drip, from Francie to Michael to Jack.

"I'm sorry for your lost Michael" said Weiss.
Michael nods and the two men hug. Jack approaches them. Weiss excuses himself.
"When I got the call, I couldn't think. I knew i had to call you" he started.
"Well, thank you" Michael says.
"Married for 6 years? It...it seems shorter" he continues.
"It feels shorter." Michael says.
"where's Stephanie?" he asks, looking for her.
"She's with Francie" he says, directing his eyes in Francie's direction.
"Oh..she'll never know her bother either I suppose" he says.
"Yes...and I'll assure you that she'll never work for the CIA either. You know, you can visit her anytime" he says.
"Thank you" he says.
Francie and Charlie brought Stephanie over.
"Is mommy really gone?" she says, with a tear falling from her face.
Vaughn bends down on one knee and nods his head.
"But, mommy loved you very much. And I'm sure, that she's not gone...just gone away in heaven. But she's not gone-gone" Vaughn says, with tears dripping down his face himself.
The little girl throws her arms around her father.
"I love you daddy" she says.
Vaughn hugs her tightly and closes his eyes.
